Amanda Clark, daughter of Clark Executive Search’s President Ellen Clark, is a 2008 Olympian in the sport of sailing. In addition to running her Olympic Campaigns, Amanda has been working for Clark Executive Search as an executive recruiter finding scientists and doctors for pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies. Amanda also runs her own successful professional sailing coaching service, in which she has led National and International teams. She is a graduate of Connecticut College where she was two time Women's All American in college sailing and an honor roll student.
Amanda started sailing at an international level when she was ten years old and has sailed in over 42 countries. She has trained, coached or competed with the most elite athletes in her sport. This worldly experience makes working with international candidates or clients a natural for Amanda.
The years of striving for her Olympic goal have given Amanda an incredible work ethic that ties into whatever she does. She has a strong background in teamwork and management as she has led three Olympic Campaigns. She has also learned valuable skills of time management, listening, and public speaking from her 12 years of professional sailing.
